February 21 Madison BCW Meeting @ Next Door Brewing Co.

The Botanical Club of Wisconsin will be doing something a little different this month – a social event to get together with and get to know other Wisconsin botanists. Our February meeting will be held at Next Door Brewing Company on the near east side of Madison. Stop by and meet other plant enthusiasts and enjoy a libation! Bring your suggestions for future topics, plant related questions and comments, and samples or photos of plants you'd like to know more about. We will also discuss the Illinois Native Plant Society’s invitation to join a multi-state botanical society contest – Midwest Botanists Big Year. A summary of the Illinois-specific contest from 2016 can be seen on the INPS website at: https://www.ill-inps.org/illinois-botanists-big-year-2016/. This year INPS would like to broaden the event to include plant societies and clubs from neighboring states.
